A couple of weeks ago, one of the English tutors told me to check out his band at Rock the Wave at the KU pub. Of course I couldn't miss out on this fabulous opportunity, so my friends and I checked out the pub to see the band. Little did I know but the English tutor was the LEAD SINGER!! and he was really good too. The band played a ton of fun covers, everyone was singing along, it was great. Then the lead singer told us to go out and dance- yes some people were reluctant- but I made sure there was dancing.
So to check out this band- 5 cents a shot- come to the pub this Thursday at 10. It is 18 and up with a $4 cover. Vote for your (2nd) favorite tutor's band so that he can play at Daytona.

Ya I remember seeing his band play last semester at a house party on the weekend. I was very impressed and they did alot of sweet covers. Plus they did everyones favorite "Free Bird"
