The Last of Brett Farve
Brett Farve will go down in history as one of the greatest quarterbacks who ever played the game. Earlier today, Farve has decided to take off his shoulder pads and say goodbye to the NFL. Unfortunately, we have seen the last of Brett Farve and the game will miss him. Farve owns many NFL records such as most career TD passes (442) passing yards (61,655) and most QB wins by a starter (160). Farve also was the league MVP twice and has been in two Super Bowls, winning one of them. Even though Farve has flirted with retirement over the past two years, I did not expect him to retire this year. His young went 12-4 in the regular season and he had one of his best seasons statistically. However, the Giants shocked the state of Wisconsin and knocked off the Packers in their historic run to become Superbowl Champs. Farve will always be remembered as one of the greatest quarterbacks who just loved playing the game of football.

As a bears fan this is a bitter sweet thing. As much as I respect Farve and enjoy watching him play, I know the bears will be more successful against them now.
