My Day At Ohio State
Friday morning my friend from back home calls me to see if I wanted to come and visit him at the Ohio State University. Not only that but he said that he bought me a ticket to go see a concert with him, the band is called Slightly Stoopid. I agreed to make the trip and it turned out that it wasn't to bad of a drive. Upon arriving at the massive university I meet up with my buddy, and he gave me a quick tour. I didn't a school that size could be possible. After we hung out for a while we started our journey to the concert, and that is when I realized that with a big school comes a big walk. The concert was awesome along with the after parties. I woke up the next day and decided that I would go to the 20th Arnold Classic down at the Concention Center. I had no idea what I was walking into. For those who do not know the Arnold classic is a weight lifting and muscle competition and show named after Arnold Swartzaneger. I heard that it might be a pretty fun time, but as soon as I entered the door I walked into a world of steriods, spray on tans, and greasy hair. I had never heard a woman with a voice 8 octives lower than mine till then. Or a woman who could beat up myself along with the rest of the freshman football team at the same time till then either. Besides getting within arms reach of the Govenator and alot of free stuff, I felt like I was in a very creepy place the whole time I was there. It was definately an eye opening experience. After I decided it was time for me to leave when wasn't long after I arrived I visited my friend one last time and traveled home. All in all it was a decent time in Columbus, but I am very glad I go to school at Dayton.
