No Sled? No problem

If you happened to look outside this weekend you probably noticed the abundant amount of snow on the ground. for the first time this year, my friends and I decided to go sledding. Although we did not have the proper equipment (sleds), we MacGyver'ed the situation and came up with something. We used our laundry baskets. At first we were a bit skeptical and so were some of the other seasoned sledders, but after they saw us do our first run, all adversity thrown our way siezed to exist. Our laundry baskets went just as fast, if not faster than the actual sleds the other sledders were very impressed. So if you want to go sledding but you don't have the essentials, do not let that stop you. Use a laundry basket or think of something else. Hurry before all the snow melts, because if you don't do it this year, you'll be one year older when you do.

next time you should hit up the terrain park with those baskets. there are some nice rails down between stuart field and the rec plex.
